Abstract
A lock-in amplifier is a device that extracts target signal around a certain frequency from a noisy environment. It utilizes the lock-in signal processing technique to establish a band-pass filter with an extremely narrow passband bandwidth. Synclock's digital lock-in amplifier shares the same functionalities as other lock-in amplifiers in general but it is designed to be lightweighted, portable and have a long battery life. The device supports input signal frequncy up to 50kHz and is designed to convert analog signal into digital signal with 18-bit resolution. The deivce also comes with an easy-to-use user interface to change input parameters and settings for the signals.
Description
Undergraduate Engineering Science students are required to complete a group-based, two-course capstone sequence: ENSC 405W and ENSC 440. Groups form company structures and create an innovative product that potentially acts as a solution to a real-life problem. This collection archives the following assignments: proposal, design specifications, requirements specifications, and proof of concept.
