Abstract
The Omaro OptiFit is a complete physiological monitor and warning system that is designed to help researchers, physiotherapists and personal trainers observe and correct powerlifting technique. In an emerging sports technology market, OptiFit will exist to fill the gap of a need for a device that not only tracks performance, but also provides real-time feedback for the sole purpose of reducing the chances of injury. OptiFit achieves this by combining optical, wireless electromyography (EMG), and force sensors with analysis software to provide immediate audio feedback as well as synced data via a graphical user interface (GUI).
