Bürgmuller Variation 2

This sound clip is the second recording of an improvisational duet by my student Bonnie and me. We initiated this musical piece with the opening phrase of Petite Reunion from Bürgmuller's book. I reminded her to listen and trust herself. Bonnie could join in the duet whenever she heard something she wanted to react to. This time, Bonnie could catch and answer my musical invitations immediately. She was relaxed participating in the duo and naturally shifted her hand positions to play the theme in different registers to lead my response.
