Abstract
This chapter discusses the role of copyright in interlibrary loans and how the practice of interlibrary loans is affected by the movement of library collections away from physical ownership of collections governed by copyright law and international agreements towards licensing of digital content where use of collections is governed by private contract law.

UK: Andy Appleyard, Matt Lambert and Janet Winter.
Qatar: Katia Medawar and Alwaleed Al-Khaja.
Germany: Nicole Clasen.
Spain: Carmen Lomba.
Italy: Katia Alboresi, Claudia Beretta, Gustavo Filippucci, Laura Garbolino, and Silvana Mangiaracina.
