Abstract
The video showcases the large virtual environment of our benchmark system, demonstrating the participant's journey through the figure-eight path with both horizontal and vertical movements, akin to a roller coaster ride. In this condition, "dynamic FOV reduction" is added as a VR sickness mitigation technique. Along the way, as the participant uses the A and B buttons on the controller to report their VR sickness score, the in-VR sickness rating interface appears, overlaid on the participant's view. This is used to adjust their VR sickness score in real-time, which changes from 0 to 100 percentage scale. In this video, the researcher manually stops the movement of the participant towards the end, in which the participant comes to a full stop with a slow drop.
