Abstract
John Waterhouse, retired SFU faculty member, cycled 40,000 km, a distance equal to the circumference of the earth, in eight separate bicycle trips from June 2011 to December 2019. This book of John's ties his cycling experiences together by outlining ten lessons that he learned in his cycling travels. These lessons are not uniquely applicable to cyclists, although they are life lessons as seen through the eyes of a cyclist.
