This sound file accompanies Chapter 5 of my doctoral thesis. The five soundings offer an aural expression of my research.

Be present for a moment. Listen.
Brass cymbals ring, tap, click, and buzz in dialogue with drum.
An improvisatory conversation. Comings and goings of bamboo flute.
Can you sense the rumbling tensionalities of living with children, teachers, kin?
