Abstract
Parking, the last phase of a peaceful drive, can also be one of the most frustrating parts of driving. When one enters a parking lot, the goal is to find a space in which one can place their car closest to one's destination. Often, however, drivers enter parking lots without the realization that there are no vacancies, resulting in valuable time lost to a vain search of a parking space. Furthermore, when there are multiple numbers of spaces available, how does one know which is the closest to their destination?SensorMate Parking System is designed to ease driver irritation to the above problem. With our indication system, drivers will immediate know whether spaces are available in a parking lot. Not only will drivers know if spaces are vacant, but they will also locate where the vacant spaces are. The implementation of this system is designed to enable future adaptations to other similar problems
