Abstract
Our system is an upgrade kit for an enlarger used in large format photography. This upgrade kit would enable this photography enlarger (built in the seventies) to compete with most devices available in the market today. This is achieved by replacing non-working light sensors, adding a few motors along with two microprocessors to analyze commands and feedback algorithms. We then create a user interface that will communicate directly with the head unit, and enable the user to have full control of the unit through a keypad.
