Abstract
Our product, the Pill Alerting System (PAS), will remind individuals when it is time to take their pills by setting off music and flashing a LED on a slightly modified cap of a pill container. The PAS is very simple-to-use and requires no extra effort from the users. The design of this device is such that age and technical background will not limit its use. The PAS is also designed to accommodate hearing and visual disabilities. The visually-impaired can hear the music and the hearing-impaired can see the LED light.
