Abstract
The objective of our project is to develop an affordable, comfortable and effective solution to significantly minimize the noise of snoring. We plan to implement this "Anti-snoring device" using Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. The basic idea of ANC is to cancel out sound waves using another sound wave of opposite polarity. In the context of an anti-snoring device, there would be microphones to pick up snoring noise, electronics to process the noise into an inverted version, and speakers to play the "anti-noise". To have a portable solution that can be used in almost any location, the physical arrangement of the system will be embedded into a pillow. Such arrangement leads to the name of our project "Anti-Snoring Pillow".

Description
Undergraduate Engineering students are required to complete a group-based, two-course capstone sequence: ENSC 405W and ENSC 440. Groups form company structures and create an innovative product that potentially acts as a solution to a real-life problem. This collection archives the following assignments: proposal, design specifications, requirements specifications, and proof of concept.
