Abstract
The Portable Filtering System (PFS) is a filtering device for users specifically for people who have to walk large distances in order to access water. The PFS allows the user greater ease while transporting the water due to being on wheels and also filters the water while it is being transported. Being powered by its own motion it saves energy and is a perfect fit for developing countries.

Undergraduate Engineering students are required to complete a group-based, two-course capstone sequence: ENSC 405W and ENSC 440.  Groups form company structures and create an innovative product that potentially acts as a solution to a real-life problem.  This collection archives the following assignments: proposal, design specifications, requirements specifications, and proof of concept.
