Abstract
The Wireless Ultrasonic Waterflow Monitoring System will accurately measure the amount of water flowing through an industrial water pipe and sends data to a PC via wireless transmission. By using transit time flow metering, the water flow within a pipe can be calculated by using the time the ultrasonic beam is transmitted and the time it arrives at the ultrasonic transducers. With the two measurements of the downstream and upstream transit times of the transducers, the Wireless Ultrasonic Waterflow Monitoring System intelligently calculates the water flow within the pipe.
