Abstract
The PillPal is an assistive device to help people adhere to complex medication regimens. It will use intelligent software to automatically process and collect relevant data. To complete the automated dispensing process, it will utilize mechanical components to perform the manipulation, storage and dispensing of the medication and the capturing of the label information. The mechanical components are guided by electronic circuitry controlled via a microcontroller.

Undergraduate Engineering students are required to complete a group-based, two-course capstone sequence: ENSC 405W and ENSC 440. Groups form company structures and create an innovative product that potentially acts as a solution to a real-life problem. This collection archives the following assignments: proposal, design specifications, requirements specifications, and proof of concept.
