Abstract
In a nursing home for senior citizens, the majority of seniors are sitting down for long periods of time and have blood pooling in their lower legs and feet. The few solutions that exist include medication, surgery and compression socks. These solutions do not appeal or work for everyone. RippleRelief Medical aims to prevent blood from pooling in the user by creating Sockulation, a device that will massage the foot and lower leg in an upward pulselike motion.
