Abstract
Painting a room is a repetitive, time consuming, and messy task for homeowners and contractors alike. Even in ideal conditions, applying the necessary coats of paint to a large wall can be a long and monotonous task that is ill suited to a human being - but perfect for a machine. Our prototype, PaintBot, aims to automate the procedure in order to reduce costs for homeowners and increase the productivity of contractors.
