Abstract
Plot-Hole's goal is to streamline the governmental pothole detection and reporting process. Targeting local municipalities, the system aims to reduce overall costs for pothole repairs while keeping roads safer for drivers and cyclists. Plot-Hole detects potholes via a deep learning and ultrasound system. Detected potholes are uploaded a database that connects to a live mapping system. The hardware detection system mounts to street sweepers and other city vehicles, allowing for detection via vehicles that would already be traversing residential streets, commercial districts, and side streets.
