Researcher's Series Description for Welcome to Provincetown: Welcome to Provincetown is a sound-rich ten-part human interest audio documentary series. The series host and producer Mitra Kaboli takes us with them on a trip to the historically queer beach town Provincetown where we meet a selection of LGBTQ+ community members across different races, ages, classes, and backgrounds who call Provincetown home. Some for many years, and others just for a summer. The series explores queer politics, environmentalism, housing crises, and the arts through the human centred narratives showcased in each episode.
